I found the perfect Sim Management program!
So I was browsing Mod The Sims like I usually do, procrastinating on things I need to work on for the site....and I found myself on the "Programs and Utilities" section. I've been looking for a way to keep track of my sims stats(age,skills,interests etc.) as well as a way to keep track of their financial situation and I came across something while browsing called "Personal Record (Sim Database spreadsheet) part of The Sim's Economy Gameplay"! I wasn't sure about it at first but the more I read into it and read the comments the more I wanted to try it. So, I downloaded it and gave it a shot, it opened up my Microsoft Excel program and I had to make a few alterations but when I got around to taking a look at it I realized it was exactly what I've been looking for! It's visually appealing, and has all the sections that I've been wanting to implement into my game play. I have to get to know it a bit better but I am so goddamn stoked to use this!
There's a couple different tabs that you can set things up for, which I'm super excited to really explore and hash out what I'm doing to use for gameplay. It has a lot of different details that I wasn't sure how I'd even do myself on a database type of program.
The only complain I have is that, I have to make a seperate save file for every sim that I plan to use this for so I might make a few changes to the layout, which you can completely edit as you'd like.
I'm going to use this for my new Somersby Bay neighborhood!
The creator ALSO made another database type of file that helps players keep track of their sims businesses and expenses. I'm really stoked to use this one as well because I love running businesses in TS2, it's one of my favorite features of the game., so I'm really excited to use it as well for my business owner sims.
